Did Apple tease the iPholde during the WWDC keynote?

Good afternoon, fellow sensation-seekers! I've got a couple of WWDC pieces here on the workbench alongside the big breakdown to come (either "the large examination of the keynote and other announcements, which will require some fact-checking and Deeper Thought" or "my mental and emotional collapse as I juggle my goals for this week with my other responsibilities.")

We are all meditating upon the 1'20" video's solo Feature Quilt (or: "bento," for those who prefer a term that's universally understood, as opposed to one stubborn observer's personal quirk):

But I couldn't wait to post this little blip from the end of the keynote, just before the 1'12" mark. Craig is introducing a update to Xcode's device simulator, now known as Device Hub. Watch:

Yes, the simulator is helping this developer see what their iPhone-style app would look like if the iPhone's screen were, hypothetically, much, much wider.

For those of you running Netscape 2.0 and can't see YouTube content:

Yeah, I know. This could mean something, could mean nothing, could be just a wry and puckish choice on the part of the producer in charge. It definitely won't be the weirdest bit of head-scratching this week's worth of WWDC videos will provoke.
