You rhapsodize about the terrific song, &quot;That Thing You Do!&quot;, and even mention the name of the fictional band that performed it, but fail to shout out the actual creators of the song. It was written by one of the guys from Fountains of Wayne, and sung by Mike Viola of Boston&#039;s own Candy Butchers.

While writing this, I discovered that an extended edition DVD of the movie was released earlier this year. Gotta go add it to my Christmas list.</description>
